sounds or outtakes as follows:
1. I add an effect that amplifies each recording by
exactly 2.0 more dB than it was recorded in. This gives
the recording some warmth.
2. Then I compress the entire selection. (This is
something we did when I was in radio that evens out the
dynamics).
3. Then any "peaks" in the wave form that I can visually
see, I manually select and "Normalize" (Audacity has
this feature built in) so that the wave form is more
consistent and doesn't spike.
4. Then the file is exported as an mp3!"
